Food was alright, nothing crazy, but the service was a whole different story. I saw a sushi roll on the menu (in the pictures) that wasn’t actually listed, so I asked the waitress about it. She said she’d check with the kitchen and add it to my order. Cool. Food comes out… no sushi roll. So I ask about it, and the manager comes over and tells me the pictures on the menu are just “decorations” and not actual items they serve. That alone is wild to me. I asked why they’d advertise food they don’t even sell instead of just showing what they actually have, and she got pretty hostile and said it’s “standard.” I’ve been to a lot of restaurants and I’ve never seen that before. Just felt misleading and the attitude didn’t help at all.

I had a very disappointing experience at Sakura Asian Cuisine. While the food itself was decent, the customer service completely ruined it. When I asked about their bento box—specifically why it’s advertised as coming with fried rice—the manager was extremely rude and dismissive. I was told they “never” include fried rice with that particular bento box and that I would have to purchase it separately if I wanted any. This was frustrating because their menu clearly lists the bento box under items that include fried rice. Instead of addressing the inconsistency or trying to resolve the issue, the manager came off as unhelpful and unprofessional. It’s one thing for there to be a misunderstanding, but it’s another to be treated poorly when simply asking a question. Needless to say, I won’t be returning. The food may be okay, but it’s not worth dealing with that kind of service.

The menu presented some intriguing choices, as it featured dishes I had not encountered before in a restaurant of this kind. The food was both delectable and beautifully presented, and the service was quite satisfactory. All things considered, I anticipate returning to this establishment whenever I am in the vicinity.

My husband and I went here for the first time recently. We both liked what we got and were amazed at how many people came into the restaurant to dine after we got there. It must be a popular restaurant among the community members because many people ended up coming in. We would both rate our meals a four 4️⃣. He got Udon 🍜 Noodle with triple meat and thought it tasted very good. I got Hibachi Scallops and Shrimp 🍤 with white rice 🍚. I thought they did a good job on their rice and the scallops tasted pretty good, but I did not really enjoy the shrimp. I think it was overcooked and somewhat chewy, but outside of that the teriyaki flavor that went along with this meal was complimentary to it. I did have a Piña Colada Smoothie that I did not take a picture of and it was yummy to the tummy. I would give it a strong 4 1/2, maybe a five 5️⃣ and I would definitely order it again. Our waitress was very nice and humorous, too, my husband and I both enjoyed her being our waitress.

I was authentically surprised to find such good sushi in a place that used to be a Wendy's drive thru! The prices are modest, especially if you decide on their roll lunch special. We had the a la carte squid 🦑 -which was not traditional, but incredibly tasty, the Red Dragon roll, and the Spicy Girl roll. Last, but not least, the service staff were all friendly and attentive; which is hard to come by these days! We will most definitely be back.
